Zach is a Senior Cloud Security Consultant at ScaleSec. Zach joined ScaleSec in March of 2022 from another professional services firm and has been involved in GCP and AWS works since joining. Zach brings several years of security experience across a variety of domains, such as security architecture, security engineering, and compliance. Zach’s project experience includes: - Evaluated a Fortune 1000 Utilities company’s AWS environment against NIST and CIS standards and developed a future-state roadmap to progress the company towards a Zero Trust Architecture - Leveraged the AWS Control Tower product to launch the landing zone and used Terraform to develop the required Service Control Policies, IAM Permission Sets, and Config Rules for Biotech company - Conducted a cloud security review of the client’s GCP environment against several domains and created a roadmap of short and long-term activities for the client to perform Outside of work, Zach enjoys playing pickup soccer with friends, playing board games, and improving his Spanish skills.
